Arrive at the nearest planned access point, commonly Umaria or another confirmed transfer location, and continue by road to your Bandhavgarh lodge. After check-in, take time to settle in and attend the lodge briefing about safari reporting, permitted routes and forest etiquette. Depending on arrival time and confirmed permit availability, an afternoon safari may be possible, but it should not be assumed without a booking. Enjoy the natural surroundings from designated lodge areas and have an overnight stay near the reserve.

Rise early for the scheduled morning jeep safari, reporting at the allocated gate at the time printed on your permit. Explore the assigned zone with an authorised guide and driver, watching for pugmarks, alarm calls, deer, birds and other signs of forest activity. Return to the lodge for breakfast and a rest during the midday break. If a second permit is confirmed, head out again for the afternoon safari when the forest light changes. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed; keep noise low and follow all park instructions.

Enjoy breakfast and check out. If your booking includes another confirmed safari and departure timing permits, take the drive according to the permit schedule; otherwise, spend the morning at the lodge and enjoy the surrounding forest from approved areas. Your driver will transfer you to the designated railway station or onward destination. Safari permits, zone allocation, park opening dates and vehicle arrangements are subject to forest department rules and availability, so the final programme must follow confirmed bookings.
