Arrival in Chopta & Mountain Leisure

FOREST ROADS & MEADOWS

Arrive in the Chopta region by road, taking in the forested slopes, village landscapes and changing Himalayan views along the way. Check in to your accommodation and allow time to settle in, as the area sits

at a higher altitude than the plains. Depending on arrival time and weather, enjoy a short walk around the nearby meadows or simply relax with views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay in the Chopta region.

Tungnath Temple & Chandrashila Trek

HIMALAYAN TREK EXPERIENCE

Start early after breakfast for the trek route from Chopta towards Tungnath Temple. The trail is uphill and can be demanding, particularly in snow or wet conditions, so choose the walk according to your fitness and

local guidance. Travellers may continue towards Chandrashila only when the route is open and conditions are safe. Carry water, suitable footwear and warm clothing. Return carefully to Chopta and spend the evening resting at your accommodation.
