Explore the itineraryArrive in Bhuj and meet your driver for the journey towards the Rann region. Check in to your chosen resort, homestay or tent accommodation, subject to availability. After some rest, head towards the white salt desert for the evening landscape and sunset views, following the designated visitor access and permit process. The colours of the sky and salt flats change through the evening, making this a memorable introduction to Kutch. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit Kalo Dungar, also known as Black Hill, for expansive views over the surrounding landscape, subject to road and weather conditions. Continue to selected craft villages where artisans create embroidery, weaving, leatherwork and other traditional products. Your visit can include Bhujodi or another village depending on the route and artisan availability. Later, return to the Rann for another opportunity to experience the open salt landscape. Overnight stay in the Rann region.
Enjoy breakfast and check out. If time permits, browse local craft outlets or take a short stop at a village market before driving back to Bhuj. Your driver will drop you at Bhuj Airport or Railway Station, or at another agreed point for your onward journey. Please keep buffer time for the road journey, especially during festival dates and busy winter weekends. Rann access and sightseeing are subject to local permissions and seasonal conditions.
