Leh to Pangong Lake via Chang La

HIGH-ALTITUDE LAKE JOURNEY

After breakfast, set out from Leh towards Pangong Tso via the Chang La route, subject to road and weather conditions. Enjoy the mountain scenery from designated stops and follow local guidance at high-altitude points.

Arrive near the lake and check in to your pre-arranged camp or accommodation. Keep the evening restful, stay warm and avoid strenuous activity. Overnight near Pangong.

Pangong Tso & Lakeside Exploration

THE MANY SHADES OF BLUE

Spend the morning enjoying the changing colours of Pangong Lake and the stark mountain backdrop. Walk only where permitted and remain mindful of the altitude, cold winds and sensitive lakeside environment.

After breakfast or a relaxed morning, enjoy time at designated viewpoints and nearby settlements as permitted. Return to your accommodation for an overnight stay near the lake.

Pangong Lake to Leh

RETURN VIA MOUNTAIN PASSES

After breakfast, check out and begin the return drive to Leh. The route and stop sequence will depend on road conditions, weather and local instructions.

Reach Leh later in the day and transfer to your hotel. Keep onward flights or connections on a separate day wherever possible, allowing a buffer for mountain travel.
