03 DAYS
01

Arrival & Acclimatisation

KAZA EXPLORATION

Arrive in Kaza by the open seasonal road and check in. Keep the first afternoon quiet, drink water and allow your body time to adjust to the altitude.

Take only a short local walk if you feel well. Confirm the next day’s road status and arrange a suitable vehicle with your accommodation host.

Overnight stay in Kaza.

02

Key Monastery, Kibber & Chicham

KAZA EXPLORATION

Visit Key Monastery and follow the site’s visitor guidance. Continue to Kibber and the Chicham Bridge viewpoint when road and weather conditions permit.

Keep walks short, carry water and sun protection, and return to Kaza before evening. Avoid strenuous activity while acclimatising at high elevation.

Overnight stay in Kaza.

03

Langza, Hikkim & Komic

KAZA EXPLORATION

Drive to Langza for the Buddha statue and village views, then continue to Hikkim. Visit the post office only if it is open during your stop.

Proceed to Komic before returning to Kaza. Take frequent short breaks and change the order if anyone feels unwell or the road is affected.

Overnight stay in Kaza.

04

Tabo Monastery & Departure

KAZA EXPLORATION

Travel towards Tabo and visit its monastery complex, subject to opening hours and local guidance. Keep the visit focused because the drive takes time.

Return to Kaza or continue on your confirmed route. Check seasonal pass status and current road advisories before leaving the valley.

Continue to your next destination as arranged.
