Arrive at Kaziranga from Guwahati, Jorhat or another agreed pickup point and transfer to your pre-booked stay near the park. The drive offers changing views of Assam’s countryside, tea-growing areas and village settlements. After check-in, take time to settle in and confirm the next day’s safari arrangements with the property or authorised operator.

If time permits, enjoy a relaxed visit to a nearby tea garden viewpoint or explore the local market around Kohora. Keep the evening unhurried, as safari reporting times can be early and are determined by the park authorities. Overnight stay near Kaziranga.

Start early for a pre-booked jeep safari in an available zone of Kaziranga National Park. Depending on permits and operational conditions, the visit may be arranged in the Kohora (Central) Range, Bagori (Western) Range or Agaratoli (Eastern) Range. The park is known for its greater one-horned rhinoceros, elephants, wild water buffalo, swamp deer and rich birdlife, but sightings vary and cannot be promised.

Return for breakfast and some time to rest. Later, visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park to learn about regional orchids, plants and cultural traditions, subject to opening hours. If your schedule and local conditions permit, enjoy a short drive through nearby tea-growing countryside before returning to your accommodation for the night.

After breakfast, check out and proceed for an optional excursion towards Kakochang Waterfall, subject to road access, weather, available time and local conditions. The waterfall area is reached by a drive and walk, so guests should wear suitable footwear and follow local safety advice. If the excursion is not practical, keep the morning free for a relaxed breakfast and views of the surrounding countryside.

Continue to your agreed drop-off point in Guwahati, Jorhat or the nearest suitable transport hub. Your departure transfer will be planned according to your onward flight or train timing. The itinerary can be adjusted around safari slots, seasonal park operations and your travel schedule.
