Arrive in Shivamogga and check in to your hotel. Depending on the camp’s current visitor schedule, proceed to Sakrebailu Elephant Camp to learn about elephant care and conservation. Visitor access and viewing opportunities are governed by the facility’s operating rules; confirm timings before travel.

Later, take a drive towards Gajanur Dam if public access is open. Enjoy the surrounding landscape from permitted viewpoints and return to Shivamogga for an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, travel towards Jog Falls, one of India’s prominent waterfalls. The appearance of the falls varies significantly with rainfall and dam water releases, and viewing platforms may be affected by weather or maintenance. Follow local safety barriers and site instructions.

If time and the safari’s operating hours permit, visit Tyavarekoppa Lion and Tiger Safari on the return route. Safari access, animal sightings and vehicle arrangements are subject to the facility’s rules. Return to your hotel in the evening.
