Arrive in Konark from Puri or Bhubaneswar and check in at your accommodation. Begin with the renowned Konark Sun Temple, a 13th-century monument conceived as the celestial chariot of the Sun God. Explore its carved stone wheels, sculptural panels and architectural layout with time to appreciate the details. Follow monument rules and use an authorised guide if you would like a deeper historical explanation.

After the temple visit, explore the Konark Archaeological Museum if it is open on your travel day. The museum displays sculptural fragments and material connected with the site. Return to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening.

After breakfast, proceed to Chandrabhaga Beach, a coastal stretch close to the Sun Temple and known for its sunrise views and open shoreline. Enjoy the scenery from safe public areas and follow local advice about sea conditions; swimming may be unsafe depending on the surf and seasonal warnings.

Continue towards Ramachandi Temple, set near the Kushabhadra River estuary, and explore the surrounding coastal landscape. If time and road conditions permit, include Kurum Beach as an additional stop. Return to Konark for an overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast and check out. Depending on your onward route and available time, stop at Pipili, known for its colourful applique work, or Raghurajpur Heritage Crafts Village, associated with Pattachitra painting and traditional artisan practices.
