Orchha Tour Package

Arrive in Orchha or reach via Jhansi and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, begin at the Orchha Fort complex, located on an island-like bend of the Betwa River. Explore Jahangir Mahal, known for its balconies, domed pavilions and layered courtyards, followed by Raj Mahal and other accessible sections. Notice the blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural details throughout the complex. Spend the late afternoon exploring the old town lanes before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, visit the imposing Chaturbhuj Temple, whose elevated structure dominates the Orchha skyline. Continue to Ram Raja Temple, an important active place of worship where visitor movement should respect prayer and security arrangements. Later, walk towards the Betwa River chhatris, the distinctive cenotaphs built in memory of Bundela rulers. The riverside setting is especially atmospheric in the softer afternoon light. Return to your hotel after time for photographs and local refreshments.

Enjoy breakfast and check out. If time allows, take a final walk near the Betwa River or visit a local craft shop for souvenirs. Your driver will transfer you to Jhansi railway station or continue with your onward road itinerary. Allow sufficient time for the transfer, particularly if connecting to a scheduled train.
