Kanha Tour Package

Reach the confirmed Kanha access area, such as Khatia or Mukki depending on your lodge and safari gate, and transfer to your accommodation. After check-in, relax and attend the lodge briefing about the reserve, safari reporting time and forest etiquette. If an afternoon permit has been secured and your arrival allows, proceed for the scheduled drive; otherwise, enjoy the lodge surroundings and prepare for the next morning. Overnight stay at the selected forest lodge.

Start early for your pre-booked jeep safari in the zone assigned on your permit. Travel with an authorised guide and driver through sal forest, bamboo patches and open meadows while observing animal tracks, bird calls and habitat changes. Kanha is associated with barasingha conservation, and the naturalist may explain the reserve's ecology during the drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast and rest. If a second safari is booked, set out again in the afternoon, following all park regulations and keeping a respectful distance from wildlife.

After breakfast, check out and proceed with an additional morning safari only if a valid permit is confirmed and the departure schedule allows. Otherwise, enjoy a relaxed morning at the lodge before your road transfer to the designated railway station or onward destination. Safari zones, timings, entry gates and availability are governed by the forest department and can change by season. No wildlife sighting can be promised, but the forest landscape and guided interpretation remain an important part of the experience.
