Arrive at Govindghat and check in to your confirmed accommodation. Meet your coordinator to review the current trail status, yatra rules and the next day’s movement plan. Keep your identity

documents, registration details, warm clothing, rain protection and essential medicines ready. Use the evening to rest and hydrate, as the following day involves a substantial uphill journey. Overnight stay at Govindghat.

Govindghat to Ghangaria & Hemkund Sahib

HIGH-ALTITUDE SPIRITUAL TRAIL

Proceed from Govindghat towards Ghangaria using the currently authorised route and transport arrangements. The onward trek to Hemkund Sahib is steep and reaches high altitude; it should be attempted only when the trail is officially open

and local authorities consider conditions suitable. Allow adequate time, carry water and warm layers, and follow instructions from the administration. Complete your visit and return according to the permitted schedule; overnight arrangements depend on the current rules.

Begin the return journey from Ghangaria or the confirmed overnight point as per local movement instructions. Descend carefully towards Govindghat and continue to your onward drop-off point after checking road
