Arrive in Ranchi and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Begin local sightseeing at the Rock Garden, a landscaped attraction overlooking the Kanke Dam area. Enjoy the garden paths and viewpoints, taking care on steps and uneven surfaces.

Continue to Kanke Dam for a relaxed lakeside stop, followed by Tagore Hill if time and access permit. The hill is associated with the Tagore family and offers views across parts of the city. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Ranchi.

After breakfast, set out for an excursion to Hundru Falls, formed by the Subarnarekha River as it descends over the plateau edge. Enjoy the viewpoints and follow marked paths; access to lower areas may involve many steps and can be restricted when conditions are unsafe.

Continue towards Dassam Falls, another well-known waterfall near Ranchi, subject to road and weather conditions. Water flow changes through the year and monsoon currents can be dangerous. Observe all barriers and local safety notices, then return to Ranchi for the night.

Enjoy breakfast and check out. If your departure time permits, visit Jonha Falls, also called Gautamdhara, where the approach includes a substantial flight of steps. Allow time for the descent and climb and avoid the route if weather or mobility makes it unsuitable.

Alternatively, choose a shorter city visit to Pahari Mandir or Birsa Zoological Park, subject to opening hours. Transfer to Ranchi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Final sightseeing will be adjusted around traffic, access and departure timing.
