Arrival at Sasan Gir

FOREST RETREAT

Arrive at the nearest agreed railway station or airport and drive to your resort near Sasan Gir. Complete check-in and take time to settle into the forest-side surroundings. Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy the property grounds or a short visit to a nearby local area. Your tour coordinator can brief you about safari reporting time, identification requirements and park rules. Enjoy dinner at the resort and an overnight stay near Gir National Park.

Gir Safari Experience

WILDLIFE EXPLORATION

Start early according to your confirmed safari permit and reporting slot. Enter the allocated safari zone with an authorised guide and driver, observing the forest quietly and following all instructions. Gir is known for Asiatic lions, but sightings are never guaranteed; the forest is also home to deer, antelope, crocodiles and many bird species. After returning to the resort, relax during the warmer part of the day. An optional visit to the Devalia Interpretation Zone may be arranged separately, subject to tickets and timings.

Leisure & Departure

FAREWELL GIR

Enjoy breakfast and check out. If your schedule and confirmed tickets permit, you may add a visit to a nearby nature or interpretation area before departure. Your driver will transfer you to the agreed railway station or airport for your onward journey. Safari permits, park access, operating dates and vehicle allocation are controlled by the forest authorities and may change; carry valid identification and follow the latest official instructions.
